Does the SDARM Church Teach the TRUTH in Regards to DIVORCE/REMARRIAGE?

Because of the Apostasy of the General Conference of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, many dedicated SDA’s are no longer comfortable with being members of the Church and are searching for other options. Is the SDARM (Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement) an option? Below is a statement from an exclusive interview with Spectrum & Reform Movement President Davi P. Silva.
“Today, there are some other important points of doctrine that we see differently, especially regarding remarriage after divorce. We believe that marriage, created on the sixth day of creation week (Genesis 2:21-24), is one of the main divine institutions that the remnant church must restore in “the restitution of all things” (Acts 3:19–21). “In the time of the end every divine institution is to be restored.” Prophets and Kings, p. 678. Hence, we do not perform remarriages of divorced persons while the spouse is still living (Malachi 2:15, 16; Matthew 5:32; 19:3–9; Romans 7:1–3; 1 Corinthians 7:10, 11).” https://spectrummagazine.org/article/2015/04/11/seventh-day-adventist-reform-movement-president-explains-century-old-church-split

So, if your spouse commits adultery, and you divorce your spouse, according to the SDARM, it is not lawful for you to remarry anyone else, until your ex-spouse who you already divorced for unfaithfulness DIES. I believe this is one of the beliefs that the SDARM Church holds that goes directly against the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy. “But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.” Matthew 5:32. KJV

“But here is what I tell you. Anyone who divorces his wife causes her to commit adultery. And anyone who gets married to the divorced woman commits adultery. A man may divorce his wife only if she has not been faithful to him.” Matthew 5:32 NIrV.

“In regard to the marriage of your daughter with A_____, I see where you are troubled. But the marriage took place with your consent, and your daughter, knowing all about him, accepted him as her husband, and now I can see no reason why you should carry any burden over this matter. Your daughter loves A_____, and it may be that this marriage is in the order of God in order that both A_____ and your daughter may have a richer Christian experience, and be built up where they are deficient. Your daughter has pledged herself to A_____ in marriage, and to break her marriage vows would be far from right. She cannot now disannul her obligations to him…. I had a personal knowledge of his former relations with his first wife B_____. A_____ loved B_____ far too well; for she was not worthy of his regard. He did all in his power to help her, and sought in every possible way to retain her as his wife. He could not have done more than he did do. I pleaded with her, and tried to show her the inconsistency of her course, and begged her not to obtain a divorce; but she was determined and willful and stubborn, and would have her own way. While she lived with him, she sought to secure all the money possible from him, but she would not treat him kindly as a wife should treat her husband. { 1MR 162.1 }

“A_____ did not put his wife away. She left him, and put him away, and married another man. I see nothing in the Scripture that forbids him to marry again in the Lord. He has a right to the affection of a woman….” { 1MR 162.2 }

Be careful…moving from the GC of SDA to the SDARM could be a prime example of moving from the FRYING PAN to the FIRE.

***This is not an attack on any SDARM Group Member. But hopefully this will explain WHY we do not want SDARM members trying to join this group to proselyte.
