When I read this statement, it is impossible for me to believe that Ellen White is using the word TEMPTATIONS in the same way most use it today. Most people believe that something is NOT A TEMPTATION UNLESS they FIND IT ENTICING. I don’t believe for a second that that is how we are to understand what she wrote here, regarding Jesus and TEMPTATION and ENTICEMENT to EVIL. If that was the case, then it would make Jesus to FIND EVERY SIN YOU CAN IMAGINE ENTICING! GOD FORBID! Satan TRIED to make sin as ENTICING to Jesus as he possibly could but no matter what sin Satan brought to Him, Jesus was able to say, “…for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.” John 14:30.

It is impossible for man to fully comprehend the strength of Satan’s temptations to our Saviour. Every enticement to evil, which men find so difficult to resist, was brought to bear upon the Son of God in as much greater degree as his character was superior to that of fallen man. 2SP 88.1
